This is Blue, Meeko Blue. Isn't he such a pretty kitty? He loves being told that, too. But maybe not as much as he loves chipmunks. And maybe not as much as he loves bringing said chipmunks into the house. Fun times! Today, he brought his third chipmunk into the house. Luckily, this one made it out alive, as did the first one. Unfortunately, the second one suffered a horrible fate, poor little fella. :'( I had a great Kodak moment, but I was too focused on getting the little guy out of my house that I wasted the photo op. Meeko's a smart cat, though. I locked him in the bathroom while I saved the chipmunk, then made sure Meeko couldn't get back outside....or so I thought. Meeko then watched me eat some cereal, happily lapped up some milk....and snuck outside through my bedroom window. I'd opened it because it looked like the chipmunk would jump out....and then completely forgot about it. So Meeko was rewarded big time for bringing the chipmunk inside, even though I had intended for him to be banished to the house for the rest of the day. Oh well. It's Meeko's world. He just allows me to make my presence known from time to time. When he feels like it.
